Cardiff based telecoms company TWL Voice and Data has appointed Mike Evans as their new Business Development Manager for mobility solutions and Gerard Norman as their new Business Development Manager for their security division. TWL Voice and Data specialises in IP telephony, mobile, fixed line and broadband as well as IP based CCTV camera systems and access control across the UK for businesses and organisations of all size.
Mike Evans joins the company after having worked for BT and Vodafone for over 15 years and has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry.
“As we strive to provide a complete telecommunications service to our customers, it is essential that we have a dedicated mobile division,” said Andrew Nicholson, Managing Director of TWL Voice and Data. “We are delighted to have Mike come on board to set this up. He has a wealth of experience in mobile and will make a real difference to the department. We will also be adding a dedicated customer support team to work with Mike to enable us to provide a first class service to our customers.”
Gerard Norman has 20 years experience in the security sector and spent the past six years working for Ceaton Security Services. His role will include developing the company’s security division and looking after customers for CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire safety systems.
“Gerard brings extensive knowledge and a great deal of experience to our security department and we are thrilled to have him join our team,” continued Andrew Nicholson. “We have given him the opportunity to develop his area of the business by granting him access to all of our existing customers. He has come into the business with some great new ideas and we look forward to seeing how he develops his arm of the company.”
The company has recently acquired local company JVH Communications and has worked on several large contracts in Cardiff such as the new Cardiff and Vale College development on Dumballs Road. The company are currently looking at further acquisitions in order to increase our size and authority in the market and are perfectly placed to become a UK leader within the next five years. TWL has also recently won substantial contracts with Green Willow Funerals, Axiom Manufacturing and Atlantic Properties.
