Finance Brokers Set To Expand After Saving Ceiling Firm From Collapse

Finance brokerage firm Go Commercial Finance is set to double in size after it saved a local ceiling company from collapse. The finance firm, based in the Vale of Glamorgan, helps local SMEs access finance even if they have been previously refused by their bank. They managed to get the struggling ceiling and building specialist a business loan of £40,000 paid in just four days.

The ceiling company required immediate funding in order to pay creditors, suppliers and staff wages.  As they were behind with their VAT and PAYE payments, the company was finding it difficult to generate the capital and find a lender who could deliver the funds. Go Commercial’s expertise and understanding meant that the ceiling business will continue to trade, safe in the knowledge they can apply for additional funds when needed.

“Not enough is being done to help SMEs in the area and I wanted to step in and help where the high street banks had said no.” Says David Vieira, Managing Director at Go Commercial Finance. “We are looking to help raise awareness of the alternative funding options available to businesses across South Wales.”
