Children’s Charity Teams Up With Local Business

Church Village based charity Follow Your Dream has partnered with Tudor Brewery in order to raise money. The charity fulfils the dreams and wishes of children with learning disabilities, helping them to achieve goals and be inspired and realise their ambition.

Starting on the 14th July 2014 Tudor Brewery will donate 10p from every bottle of their award winning Blorange Golden Ale to Follow Your Dreams.

“With funds hard to come by, all staff are looking to find new ways of bringing in revenue by combining fundraising with things we like and thinking outside the box.” Says Mike Williams of Follow Your Dreams. “I contacted Tudor Brewery as we work a lot in their local area with a range of different projects. It’s a great opportunity to connect with people who we may not have previously spoken with, and will open doors to events across the UK. In addition it will bring in a good level of income to support more dreams in coming true.”

Jaime Devine of Tudor Brewery said: “When we were approached by Follow Your Dreams to join forces, I jumped at the chance.  The work this charity does to encourage people, perceived as having limitations, to overcome barriers and be the best they can, really struck a chord.  Here at Tudor Brewery we have the ethos that everyone deserves a chance and this is reflected well in this new relationship between my company and the Follow Your Dreams charity.  I start this partnership with the wish that from selling our beers to the masses, we can say thank you in the best way that counts and give something back to the local community”

Currently, Follow Your Dream has had some other opportunities such as a ‘charity of the year’ partnership with some local supermarkets and businesses which allows them to do bucket collections or their staff to fundraise for Follow Your Dream. “This is of course fantastic but doesn’t guarantee a regular income stream.” continues Mr Williams. “This is such a great way to raise money and we hope to discuss similar partnerships with other companies in the future.”
