The Cardiff-based firm supplies telephony products to major organisations such as retailer JoJo Maman Bebe, Cardiff and Vale College, Cardiff Blues and the UK’s largest energy port; The Port of Milford Haven.
Speaking of the milestone, Managing Director Andrew Nicholson, who set up the business in 2003 after being made redundant, said: “I am incredibly proud of the last 13 years. We have developed a culture where we place customer service above everything else; client retention is vitally important to us.”
TWL Voice and Data posted record turnover last year of £2.1M, with forecast figures giving a 25 per cent increase to just over £2.6M; making it another year to savour for the St Mellons-based firm.
“Turnover for 2015 was encouraging, and this year is another leap forward. We have implemented new systems to encourage organic growth by focussing on client services and retention, as well as new business processes. We have made two acquisitions in the past four years which has accelerated our growth; Danwood Telecoms in 2012 and JVH Communications last year. We are certainly interested in using the acquisition method to further increase our growth and revenue streams.”
Speaking of the new TWL Hosted product, Mr Nicholson said: “We have experienced a lot of change in business, but it is the positive change that brings about the most exciting opportunities.
“TWL Hosted uses cloud-based technology to simplify an organisation’s phone system. It allows us to create a bespoke system which is easily accessible and manageable. TWL Hosted caters for growing businesses with staff members who are in multiple locations; whether that be in the office, at home or in the field.
“We can see the shift in the telecoms industry, so it made sense for us to embrace the change and get ahead of the curve. This product is a huge part of our future, as well as a huge part of our continued growth.”
