A Cardiff solicitor will be trekking across Machu Picchu in aid of Marie Curie this month. Michelle Spencer, a criminal lawyer at Martyn Prowel Solicitors, will be embarking on the five day adventure aiming to raise a total of £4000 for the cancer charity.
Mrs Spencer is just over £1000 off her target and left the UK for Peru on the 2nd May. Her employers, who contributed to the fundraising, are appealing for extra donations to be made.
‘‘We wish Michelle all the best in her outstanding adventure across Machu Picchu.’’ said James Lynch, Director at Martyn Prowel. ‘‘We support any of our staff and partners who undertake challenges and fundraising activities. I’m sure with a little more help, Michelle can surpass her target for what is a hugely worthwhile cause.’’
