Accountants Expand With Help Of Jobs Growth Wales Scheme

Accountancy firm N S Accounting Services has recently taken on staff thanks to the Jobs Growth Wales Scheme. Kate Pruett has been appointed Trainee Bookkeeper for the practice based near Taffs Well, north Cardiff.

“Katie is a great asset to the company.” says Nikki Shefferd, Director at N S Accounting. “She has a willingness to learn and a great understanding of bookkeeping. Her flexible attitude is a major asset in a small company. Having Kate has allowed us to grow far quicker and cope with the increase in work far easier.  I can concentrate on bringing in new clients safe in the knowledge that I will not be working all weekend to complete all the deadline.”

Kate Pruett attained a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies and is currently studying her Level 2 qualification with the Association of Accounting Technicians.

“The Jobs Growth Wales Scheme is a brilliant solution to employing new people.” continues Mrs Shefferd. “Having the first six months wages funded meant that employing a new member of staff didn’t have the added financial pressure. I am so grateful for the scheme as I have been able to take my business in the direction I want it to go.”

N S Accounting Services LTD has been running since 2007. They deal with accounting, bookkeeping from VAT to corporation tax. The team use Xero to provide monthly management reports to clients to keep everything up to date allowing companies to make decisions about their business.
